Values I value most: Love, Freedom, Tolerance, Compassion.
I am:
Pro universal health-care. A very simple matter of compassion.
Pro euthanasia. If your loved one asked you to end their suffering would you do it?
Pro gay marriage. If your gay friends wanted to marry would you tell them no?
Against human abortions. Would you rather kill your child instead of allowing someone to adopt it?
Against death penalty. Do you think that we have to revenge the victim by killing someone in cold blood?
Against easy access to guns. Do you want to live in fear that a fellow student or co-worker goes beserk and instead of jumping off a clif, buys a gun and starts shooting everyone? And no, it would not feel safer, if everybody had a gun. Life is not a game. You only live once.
Against lying politicians. Those are the people we chose to trust.
Against 100% capitalism. No individual freedom left, because in a pure capitalist system everything and everyone is owned by one person.
Against 100% socialism. No individual freedom left, because in a pure socialist system everything and everyone is owned by everyone.
I believe that we should not kill any sentinel beings for pleasure, food, or gain. I am a vegetarian.
I believe that everyone has the right to dignity in the workplace:
natural light, nice work areas - no cubicles, casual dress code, flexible working hours.
I believe that everyone has the right to rest and to
pursue non-work related interests:
have at least 20 days of paid vacation and all public holidays free,
work maximum 40 hours a week, and not be bothered in their
private time unless absolutely necessary.
